Nice spin control, lol. However the glitch in updated totals for the year showed i exceeded the requirements and was never updated with an accurate amount or i would have corrected the issue. Its water under the bridge at this point, and like i said before its nothing personal nor intended to be a so call bash session. I have alot of respect for you all. Id really like to leave it at that. This i

Sir, I'm not bashing them by any means. Rod building for a lot of us goes beyond hobby and some of us build rods for partial or even full income. Its business hands down, or a lot of us couldn't afford to build as much as we do. I don't dislike Mudhole, but I have run into some business issues that made me decide to go elsewhere. The specifics aren't important, and I fully support a lot of what t

16. looking for wholesale account set up with anyone(NOT MUDHOLE, no offense) carrying Bushido Warrior
I'm looking to set up a wholesale account with anyone supplying bushido warrior blanks o.r any other American Tackle blank products. Not trying to step on toes, but I'm not interested in doing business with mudhole by any means. Any help would be excellent! I have all necessary paperwork, tax ID, ect

Who is supplying them? I'm really trying to push them in my area, cause I'm over the ballistic craze going on. I think century blows that blank out of the water in more ways then one.

18. Century Blanks?
Can anyone tell me if Century Composites is going out of business? I see that most of my suppliers are not carrying them anymore an most stock is old stock waiting to be bought.

Anyone know where to get these blanks? Also rumor was they changed their name to COLT. Any special info that made these blanks so popular would be great.

I have used both. Its similar to flex coat high build, but, better clairity. I still use flex coat due to prokote formula going bad on me after 2 weeks. prokote goes on the rod better with better thread penetration than flex coat, but i like the overall finish from flex coat high build. It just requires you to work it a little more and it takes a little more to get the air out of flex coat but ha

It's not ribbed. It's a smooth blank, solid clear glass tip, with the graphite "x" pattern that runs the length of the blank.

It doesn't have that spiral effect like an uglystick. It's smooth. I wish I could post a pic of it.

So I purchased a blank about 8 months ago in a grab lot from mudhole. The maker is unknown and the blank meets beyond my expectations. The best I can do is describe the blank to the best of my ability, and hope whoever reads this has had some sort of run-in with it. The blank is about 6ft. x-fast action and medium to med heavy power. Solid glass clear tip and it appears to have some sort of un-un

So I need some suggestions and help. I use minwax spray enamel on my bare blanks or if I have a blank that I painted. Most of the blanks I use are E-glass. I'm building a blank that has an outter wrapping of carbon and it is a sanded, bare blank. The spray enamel I use isn't holding on to the blank like I expected it too. Has anyone gone through this? If so, what was your solution?

29. Re: For Billy V.
lol thanks both of you. I have been reading and doing some reasearch and see that the spiral wrap seems to be the way to go for jigging rods.

30. For Billy V.
Hey Billy, I plan on building a verticle jigging blank SS hercules 60XH 6' for myself. I wanted to get your input. So I dont effect the performance to the blank, how long should my grips be from the base of the blank to the foregrip? Also, would you reccomend an acid wrap for the guides? Sorry if it seems like a silly question. Thanks for your input!
