I live out near Riverside and have the same issue. I just finished up a thread master lite 8 oz kit and it was almost orange. Never had an issue. All epoxy will turn yellow over time. I now store it in cool dark place inside the house.

The best way to mix eva and cork is weldwood contact cement. Use 2 thin coats on each piece and let it dry completely.

The login panel is fixed. I turned off login because people were creating accounts when I was developeing it and I forgot to turn it back on. The site does require newer browsers that are html 5 aware. The site will render on any device (tablet, phone, computer, etc). IE 11, newest versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari should work fine. Older browsers may have issues rendering. There

When I have used citristrip, I usually brush it on foil pretty thick and wrap the rod in the foil for about 4 hours and the paint usually wipes off with a rag (sometimes a platic putty kniff for the little spots that refuse). Not sure how much you applied, but I have always had good luck doing it this way.

I built 4 WT Quickline when they first came out. It broke just casting in the back yard in about the same place you are describing. Pac Bay replaced the whole blank which did not match up with the old one. I rebuilt it again and it broke in the same spot again (between two guides) casting in the back yard. I never got a replacement again, just wrote it off and dont use quickline blanks at al

Harbor Freight has 20% and sometimes 25% off coupons. Join their mailing list and you will get them. I used a 25% off and got that lathe for around 150 bucks.

I just built a Quickline 9ft 4 wt. Very fast action. I got a 10 ft blank from @#$% by Kingfisher. I think they are the same blanks roger sells. It turned out alright. I got the blank for .99 cents so I cant complain! If I had to choose I would go with the quickline. Greg

Jeff - I use adobe Illustrator. Whatever you use you it has to be vector graphics, I believe they can take ai or eps formats. The artwork you use has to be vector as well. Greg

I also would recommend Decal Connection. You cant beat their price or service. I have tried other Rod Label Makers only to be disappointed when the package arrived. I can put together a label in Adobe Illustrator, upload it to their site and in 3 days the label arrives. The labels from Decal Connection are die cut to exact dimensions and they have a protective plastic Strip over the top of th

I am fairly new to this board, been lurking in the shadows for a short while and have found a wealth of information here. I am looking to build a fast 4 weight. I have narrowed my search to 2 blanks a Batson (RX8) XF904-4 or a Pac Bay (quickline) FAF9044. I have built a 2wt RX6 and 3wt RX7 on Batson blanks and have nothing but good things to say about them. Does anyone here know how these tw
