Yes they make the machine ! Its a quality built devise ! I own one and I can say it dose it all ! Ask for Rick at AnglersWorkshop hes my (go to) guy for everything there! I would also recommend getting the @#$%& Thread tension device for an upgrade as to there standard Thread tray device....it will save you the trouble down the road with frayed thread especially with metallic threads...works well with non-metallics though! If you plan to do your own cork work it makes for a great lathe and even has a tail-stock device ...I simply love this machine ! and its already paid for its self twice over! Also another tip ..if you plan on getting it and you are going over 7'6 and they are one piece blanks I do suggest the extension as well. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions on the machine I have plenty of time in it and counting! Happy wrapping !

Rick
How do the acrylic rod supports/thread carriage hold up over time? From the photo they look sum what fragile.I am the type of person that likes things over built rather then under built.
I also was looking at the Renzetti however I don't like the fact you have to remove the thread carriage to get past the next rod support, also like the thread between myself and the rod not behind it.

Those acrylic base/stands are fairly beefy. I don't think you'd have to worry about them in the least.

Tom K is correct! I have had no malfunctions or difficulty with them.....low maintenance and belt drives have not worn as I thought they would with the punishment I have put it through. In fact I haven't even had to touch this machine for repairs since it came out of the box now that I think about it. The thread carriage is a tight fit with bearing rollers and slide seamlessly for me. The rod support carriage is completely adjustable and there built with 1/2 inch thick Acrylic base and column supports. The roller supports are 1/4 in thick with bearing rollers and the standard rubber type wheels. All the carriages tighten down firm and secure to the main rail. The rails come with hardware to connect them together and are machined to fit, however I opted on not using them with my mounting setup. I used a finish piece of oak stock from the lumber yard to mount the main rail and adjoining piece's. I pre- drilled the rails and used enough screws to secure it to my base and make the last rail a fast attach option when I get past 7'6 one-piece blanks or rods. I am giving you the details because I know its a spendy machine to invest in and its for the serious builder in mind or perhaps someone who is meticulous about their old or new found hobby!

Hmm I just notice something in my last post there is a language edit, I don't use bad language in my post at all! strange! LOL. Well if there is anything else you want to know about it, feel free to let me know I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge and again I have not spent a dime on this machine after purchase for any repair or replacement parts to this day. I have had the machine for a over a year now and I am very pleased with it. Happy Holidays !

Apparently the tension device you recommend is supplied by a non sponsor. The system automatically edits it that way.

Actually no. There is no rule against mentioning a product by a non-sponsor. The censor list will take out words that are sometimes misconstrued or by companies that have been banned here for whatever reason. But no rule against mentioning products from non-sponsors as long as they are not unsolicited advertisements.

Ah!

I see, I have been educated then. I thot I had used a (no no) word of some kind. The tension device I mentioned is sold by Anglers Workshop they are magnetic ones and they also Intergrated this type into a thread tray that will accommodate them as well. I have one my self and it solved many problems I was having at the time. I was unaware of the system you use could actually dictate specific wording like that . Amazing how far we have come! Thank you for explaining that it relay did baffle me for a bit! Merry Christmas every one!
