Would appreciate advice for GUIDES on 6'5" 60-80# grouper rod.
Planning to spiral wrap. Probably use Daiwa 400H reel.

Thanks,
Sam Douglas

I just buit one using a Seeker CTSF XH (Graphite) 50-80, but mine was 5' 6". I love that blank! Honestly I prefer the seeker blanks over the calstar. In my opinion they are easier on you. Just my $0.02.

So where will you be fishing?

Nick

Seeker doesn't compare to Calstar graphiters, just my opinion.

Sam,
For a 60-80# rod, I'd probably use Fuji Turbo's either BLRLG with Hardaloy rings or LRSG with SIC rings. Pac-Bay also makes a good Turbo type guide with different ring materials.
