Blueing ferrules

Every year I make some bamboo fly rods. I always use nickle silver ferrules. This time I want to,, blueing" the ferrules but I don,t now how to do it. Maby sombody can help me? Thank you very much. Sincerity, Marty Maas The Netherlands Re: Blueing ferrules

I'm no expert on blueing anything but have used the BirchWood Casy cold blueing solution to do this to various items. I know that it will not work on aluminum but will work on most other metals. Check it out and maybe search out their website and see what they say about it. There are plenty of bamboo guys here and I'll bet they will inform you shortly. Re: Blueing ferrules
