EXCELLENT reel seat/ handle. Still need a sponsor supplier...

I installed the cabelas/BPS style reel seat on my latest rod, and it is VERY sweet! It is similar to a tennessee handle, except the reel foot is inset into the cork, and it screws down around the reel foot. EXCELLENT hand contact and a very comfortable, sensitive grip.

Not particularly thrilled with the looks of this seat, but the excellent grip it offers is hard to deny!

Now I have two serious problems:

1. I still have not found a board sponsor that sells these seats.
2. Now all of the other rods I have built feel inferior! AAARRRGGGHHH!

Thanks again for helping me find these handles.

Tony,

Check the Clemens catalog page 56 on the bottom left. You will find them there.

Oh, also, pg 59 of the Clemens catalog has the handle kit if you are interested.

The kit on page 59 looks similar, but it is a different handle. If you look closely, the diameter of the foregrip is larger than the rest of the handle, making for a somewhat uncomfortable grip.

The components on page 56 are the exact ones I'm looking for.

Thanks, Ed! Sharp eyes!
