Those of you who are useing grit reamers. Be careful reaming out your cork rings or preformed cork handles. Make sure there is no grit left in the cork if you leave grit it will cause a rod failure the grit will work into the graphite and cut the fibers on the rod. Keep your line tight. I've used grit reamers almost exclusively, and so far, I have not been able to find a way to make any grit stay in the cork. But just in case, I tap out the grips, and then take them out and blow them clean from both directions. Funny, but no matter how long I blow from one end, when I turn it around, there is still more that comes out from the other end. Thanks for the kind warning.
