Another Perma-Gloss?

Would it be safe to overlap Flex Coat high build with Perma Gloss after the Flex coat has dried for 24 hours? I just finished a rod and would like a gloss finish to the blank. Thanks for the Help Rick Re: Another Perma-Gloss?

I guess you mean at the edges of where the guide wraps meet the blank? I don't know about that. PermaGloss I think is solvent based and might soften the flex coat. Better wait on more intelligent replies than mine. Re: Another Perma-Gloss?

I asked Ralph O'Quinn the same question and he advised allowing the epoxy to fully cure (at least seven days). The solvents in Perma-Gloss are pretty hot. If you want a better answer e-mail the folks at Trondak or Ralph O'Quinn. Jim Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
