Brothers label printer

Is there a thin printing tape I can use in Brothers label Makers? I saw a YouTube video somebody replaced the brothers tape with a very thin label tape that was more suitable for fishing rods but unfortunately the video was in a foreign language. I’ve tried using brothers tapes but they’re just too thick they don’t Conform real well to the radius on the rod

Here is a trick you can try - after affixing the label to the rod, overwrap it with A thread, snugly. Let it sit overnight. When you remove the thread you may find that the label is now bound to the rod blank securely included the edges.

I did it a little different. Overwrapped the label with silk and coated with epoxy when I epoxied the rest of the threads.

Terje,

Can you share a picture of what that looked like when you were done?

On Amazon I found other tapes that are not by Brother but work with the P-touch line TZe. They have White, red, and blue on clear tape. I also found gold on clear.

Would these work in a P-Touch Cube?
