Hello, guys!
Can you please tell me what kind of handles are this? What materials are they made of (cork, eva, etc.)? I can see them on many custom carp rods ... [prnt.sc] I like the way they look (that camouflage color). And, yeah - where can I buy them? Any sellers in Europe? Regards, Tolo Re: What kind of handles are this?

I suspect they are a composite cork wrap tape.

Try RodHouse France. Also Cork4US, they are in Portugal.

Some vendors call them burl cork. Re: What kind of handles are this?

Have you checked out American Grips Piscari to the left? Looks like they are expanding their selection frequently. Re: What kind of handles are this?

Just beware that this can be a fairly heavy material. If you use it more for trim between natural cork sections, it won’t weigh the rod down so much. Re: What kind of handles are this?

Or, you can use a nearly full size foam arbor and bore out the burled cork to keep the weight at a minimum. Re: What kind of handles are this?

Piscari said their grip material was about 9% heavier that raw cork grips the same size. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
