Wood Hardener

Years back I came across an article that used wood hardener as a casting resin rather than epoxy or polyester. I remember trying it and was very satisfied with the results however it was so long ago I have forgotten the procedure. Can someone refresh my memory or tell me where to find the article.
Thanks

I wrote that article but it was a long, long time ago. Would have been back in one of the black and white RodMakers. It's just common Minwax type wood hardener which is often used for saving wood that has begun to rot.

Tom,

Some of my older volumes got destroyed in a basement flood. I forgot what was used for a mold or any other tips pertaining to the article would be appreciated.

Thanks Tom
