Weight class of a blank

I have some ugly Stik 10' 2pc blanks and the butt has a blank number on it but no weight class or Lure weight . Is there any way that it can be tested to get this info. I call Shakespeare and all they could tell me is it is most likely to be from the 80s. Thanks for your feedback. Dennis Re: Weight class of a blank

If they are fly rod blanks they are probably in the 5 wt. to 8wt range. Re: Weight class of a blank
