Weight class of a blank

I have some ugly Stik 10' 2pc blanks and the butt has a blank number on it but no weight class or Lure weight . Is there any way that it can be tested to get this info. I call Shakespeare and all they could tell me is it is most likely to be from the 80s. Thanks for your feedback. Dennis

If they are fly rod blanks they are probably in the 5 wt. to 8wt range.
