This Subject goes with the post below. Can i get some feedback about using a cross cut foregrip? Are they comfortable? Rod is used for casting heavy weighted snatch hook and constant pressure on hookup. Average fight on a 10' gator is around 10 minutes.
Thank you for the comments. [www.mudhole.com] J Scott Englewood, Fl Re: Cross Cut Foregrip

Never fished with one but have put them on a few offshore rods for people who love them because they are very comfortable.

Personally I don't care for them. I much prefer a triangle foregrip as the grip seats nicely in the crook of the fingers. Not sure who offers them now. I got a bunch from Merrick Tackle before they went out of business. Possible MudHole has some since they bought up Merrick's inventory.

I use the cross cut on many of my builds. Customers like them and often request them. They fit the hand well and are comfortable. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/13/2016 08:44AM by Capt. Craig Freeman. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
