I notice the XF is a heavier blank but rated for lighter line and lure weights. Can anybody give me a feel for when you would pick one over the other? Re: Rainshadow Eternity Spinning 68m vs 68mxf

Marty,
I have built on a lot of Batson blanks and have been very happy with all of the offerings. But, for this case: [www.rainshadowrodblanks.com] I wonder, if there might be a misprint in the catalog. I am thinking that the ratings should be reversed. Basically the blank with the larger butt is similar to the Magnum bass rods of other manufacturers and generally carry a heavier rating. Just drop them an e-mail and they will clear up any questions. But, I have not been unhappy with any of their rods, ranging all of the way from the older lower modulus blanks up to the latest Eternity blanks. Good luck Re: Rainshadow Eternity Spinning 68m vs 68mxf

Why not ask Batson Enterprises? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
