SCV 7' ML 1 pc is my favorite one. SCIII 6'9" ML x-fast is a good one too. Anything from 1/16th-3/8oz jigs to small cranks. Love 'em! Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

I was happy with the Lamiglas LSJ Blanks in 1 and 2 power. Have enjoyed the LP series also. Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

I agree Spencer - the LSJ781 is possibly my all time favorite. Did you fish any of the 7'0" LSJ's? I think the LP's were a little faster, but were the LSJ's lighter weight? Thanks - Marc Keep it simple - that's all I can handle! Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

Marc,
Yes I had some 7 Ft. and 7 Ft. 2 in. blanks and even a 7 1/2 footer, the LSJ 901. Never saw that one in a catalog, have only one left, the LSJ 901s were colored like the XMG fly blanks. I remember the tip was a bit lighter on the 2 power LP blanks, weight and final power were similar I think. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/24/2016 12:16AM by Spencer Phipps. St. Croix SCV66ML. Perfect for light line and finesse jigging but it can also handle some heavier jigs up to 3/8 or a tad heavier if needed. This rod excels at 1/8 - 1/4 in my mind. Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

Count me in as a fan of the St. Croix ml blanks. I use them for dropshot, Ned rig/Midwest finesse style stuff, small crank baits, etc. Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

There's 2 that come to mind:
The RX8TC 822.5 was an awesome blank for finesse, I''ve had my best overall experience with that blank. The most underated/not mentioned blank for me is a crb IS701L . The darn thing is a $20 blank and it's great for dropshotting and working finesse applications. Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

I m a bit weird. I like fly blanks as my UL rods.
My favourite is the RX8 XF662-4M 6.6 Re: What's Your Favorite Finesse Spinning Blank?

I have to agree with Randy on the Bushido SJ series, they are great blanks with a nice price point for a rod with the nano-particle resin. If you are looking for something with an action that is not quite as fast as the Spin/Jig series, there is the Drop Shot blanks, where the DS69/4-10 is again a great light line blank. It is a little shorter than the rod Randy mentioned, with a slightly softer action for stealthier presentations. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
