Hello to you guys. I recently came across a couple of old orange and black zebra kencor blanks. I am having a more experienced rod builder build these for me. That being said, I want to have a 2 dollar bill inlayed either on the bottom portion of a split grip, or just above the foregrip where traditionally a decorative wrap will go. Some of you guys know what the blank looks like, it is the tenlew magniglas orange with a black twist up the blank. I am terrible when it comes to color combinations, so in my mind there is no way to incorporate green dollar bills or a green black and orange tiger wrap to an already black and orange blank.
What ideas of color combinations do you guys think would work on this particular blank. I already had the 5footer wrapped and blue black white and silver metallic came out sweet. I never would have picked those colors but they look awesome. Lets say the only thing I definately want is a 2 dollar bill inlayed, and green burl incorporated into the handle. What colors should I look into for a possible tiger wrap, and guide wraps on an orange and black swirled blank with a 2 dollar bill inlay? Thanks for your brainstorms guys. I dont want to mess this one up, because as you know, there arent really any more kencor blanks out there. Espcially the original zebras in ultralight. Thanks again. Re: Old zebra kencor UL

That is the first one. Like I said, I never would that thought those colors worked but I think it cam out great. The handle hadnt been finished in that pic, but thats how it was stacked. I think it came out awesome. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
