I'm pretty sure that they are made in France by Brice Fabre. Not sure if they are available though.

Do you have any contact information Arnot? I have searched his name but to no avail. the only other option I have is to try and learn how to silver solder and build one.

He has a Facebook account. You might be able to contact him via Facebook messenger. When you first posted I thought the guide was one of the most unique guides I have ever seen. I googled searched using 'Brice Fabre agate guide' this gave me a link to northern Michigan fly fishing guide service's Facebook page page I scrolled down and saw the picture of mayfly guide which was posted by 'Brice Fabre himself. I clicked on his facebook picture a wound up on his Facebook page. You can send him message via messenger. I also found another site J. E. Arguello rod company. He makes and sells agate guides. If unsuccessful with 'Brice Fabre, you may be able to have him make a guide for you if he able to do such a thing. Hope this helps.
