Has anyone used Mud Hole Bubble buster in the spray bottle?

I have an use it, if I have a bubble that are hard to bust , it works fine for me for me

Yes, I use it on almost every wrap, sparingly.

Like any tool, you can have too much of a good thing. The mini alcohol torch puts a focused amount of heat where you direct the flame. If you over do, you can cook your finish and make it cure unevenly. Just a light squeeze is all that is needed and avoid multiple "hits" on any one location. Used wisely, it's a great tool for your bench.

I use it all the time. After mixing I pour the epoxy in a flat aluminum dish and give it one spritz of the bubble buster. Any bubbles present immediately vanish. It has no affect on the final product as far as I can tell.

As an option. a quick overpass with a butane or propane torch accomplishes the same thing just as easily.

John, I don't think it's quite the same. The Bubble Buster seems to break the surface tension on the epoxy and the bubbles are gone. The heat from a flame reduces the viscosity of the epoxy and the bubbles flow out.

I'd like to see one of the Mudhole guys comment on what the Bubble Buster is or at least how it works. You out there Todd?

Does anyone know what the chemical properties of Bubble Buster are?
It might be just be Windex, alcoholic and water, or something else, but whatever it is, I suspect that it is something quite simple...

I can't find the SDS sheet for the Bubble buster but I found on another fourm where someone said the MSDS says methanol and proprietary additive. The product is listed as flammable so I am suprised Mudhole doesn't have a SDS listed for the product on there website. MSDS has now been replaced with SDS if you where wondering. Not all the time, but a lot of the time Proprietary additive means water lol.

Same here, mix it vigorously , then use the bubble buster.

I put the mixed finish in a microwave for 5 seconds.
Slightly thins the mix, and bubbles disappear
