Can someone kindly provide me with a brand name of suitable foam brushes to be used with Permagloss? Re: Foam brush for Permagloss

I'm not sure brand makes a difference. I've just used any that I found at the hardware store. Disposable, cheap. If there is a difference between them, I'm interested, too. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/08/2015 07:42AM by Michael Danek. Re: Foam brush for Permagloss

Some will melt. I have found the grey ones are generally okay, the blank ones are suspect. Slight different types of foam, I assume.

I've used the black ones from Michael's craft store. 20 for a Dollar on sale. I can get one entire rod coated before the foam starts to soften and expand. Re: Foam brush for Permagloss

I have had very consistent success with the Linzer 8505-1 brushes. Hope that helps. Re: Foam brush for Permagloss

Not sure if the brand I got was just a lucky one but I have used the foam makeup applicator pads from the $$ store.
They come in a sheet 1" thick and precut into about 20 wedges, perfect shape and size I found. Oh and they are white if that matters Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/09/2015 07:04PM by Paul Pipke. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
