Hi Folks,
I have been handed a Sportfisher Ocean Side BT72 PG heavy Graphite manufactured in USA Rod for a rebuild. The Rod is brown in colour with yellow painted underwrap, wooden handle, guides are the heavy boat type without rings and a roller tip with reinforcing stays. There is a cord wrap of roughly five inches forward of the forgrip. It is a " it was Dads, do what you can" situation. The decal is fairly moth eaten, I suppose it would be beyond the realms of possibility if anyone knows if a replacement decal exists. Any information on the rod would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Rod, Mboro.

Do a google images search for "sportfisher oceanside rod" and you should come up with a cursive simple decal that looks like it would be pretty easy to make. Is this the decal that is on the rod?

Hi Michael,
Thank you for your reply, yes that is the one I had found, but could not track down any other information such as line weight etc.
Kind regards,
Rod, Mboro.

It would not be truly legit, but I don't think it would be hard to at least put that logo together for
a decal to add to the rod if you wanted to. I think you can see my email address.
