If you could get your blanks in any color - what's your favorite and why?

Charcoal grey, like a suit, any color combination will go with it. Green, like the AMTAK Matrix blanks choice #2.

Translucent blue (like the original IM6 blanks) / translucent brown with gold flecks like Clemens used to sell ( I think they were Lamis?)

The translucent green, blue, or brown blanks look richer and more expensive than common black or gray. The racks at the stores are filled with black and gray.

Prefer glossy black and glossy charcoal, because they are really versatile regarding winding colors, but really don't care. The blank characteristics are much more important to me, and I don't mind having a variety of colors and the like the planning to make each look its best.

Bare graphite. Unfinished. Paint adds weight. My personal favorite.

These days I try to buy bare graphite. White will always hold a warm spot as that is what I grew up with.

Mat bare graphite to Fly Fish.
And the superb fiberglass translucent color to build (to improve skills).

Browns and greens for fly blanks. but I really do like some of the color options from Rod Geeks. That metallic red is just calling to be built. i think it matches one of my customers boat.
