Short swimbait rod

I'm looking for a blank recommendation (as is or to cut down) for a niche application. I fish a lot out of a kickboat so long rods are not an option. I want to fish 1-3 oz hard lures (wake, glide and DW) on 20lb mono (sometimes braid) into structure, casting sidearm. Tip needs to be slow for accuracy but taperinging into reasonable backbone but not too stiff as with a kickboat you pull fish out of trouble using your legs and not so much using the rod as a lever. Butt will be 15-16" and length max 6' although 5'8" would be ideal. I don't want a clubby, musky style rod but more of a classic old style topwater/ regular taper / sweet casting rod that loads and unloads slowly. I guess that means low mod graphite, composite or even glass maybe? Any input would be gratefully received.

Thanks for your time.

Thanks Todd - they look like the business. Are the casting weights available?
