Where are you guys finding your DNA??? The only thing I have been able to find is Isopropyle alcohol not denatured alcohol. Can I use the Iso in my alcohol burner?

Paint store should have it. Denatured alcohol is shellac thinner.

Scott, where are you located? I know that a couple of states have banned DNA, I know that California was one of them. Isopropyle alcohol with a high enough percentage should work as will Everclear and several moonshines, but they can get a little spendy for what you want to do.

Mark the other "problem" with your suggestion is when using moonshine is not drinking it.
Also the Moonshine available "legally" is only 80 to 100 proof.

I think that Mark was suggesting "Everclear" if moonshine wasn't available.

Running has DNA for 11 bucks a gallon. One aisle left of the spray paint.

Mis-information abounds! California has NOT banned Denatured Alcohol! It is available here in most paint and hardware stores.
