What Tamer Guide To Use?

I am getting ready to order the components for a 5 weight fly rod. For the stripper guide I have decided to go with a high frame #12 Minima 4 as Tom suggest in a previous post. The customer wants a tamer guide on this rod. I prefer going with a one size smaller single foot guide for the tamer. My question is: do I use a Minima 4 high frame also or a standard Minima 4 fly guide? Or better yet will it make a difference at all?

It won't make much but in order to keep good aesthetics going I'd use another high frame guide in one size smaller. Or, a single foot in the same frame height. Either way, a #10.

Don,
I would caution about going automatically to a tamer - unless you are having problems with line wrapping around blank between stripper guide and next guide. Why add weight if not necessary. I have removed all tamer guides from my personal rods.
