Hello all -
A few months back I bought some 4 oz paint cans and filled them with Permagloss and Lumiseal. It worked like a charm. That is a great tip. I am about to run out of the Permagloss and was wondering - can I reuse this can with my next 4 oz bottle? Or should I start with a fresh new can? Anyone have any experience reusing these things? Thanks! Bill Re: Reusing Permagloss Can

I've never been able to get them to reseal properly after prying the lid off. For the price of a can and the amount of time it buys you, I'd get a fresh can.

Just for future info: If and when you start a new can for permaglos, wrap the threads with plumbers teflon tape before you put the lid back on . This will give you a better seal and removal will be that much easer.
I'm sorry I just realized you guys use the 1/2 pint cans with the press on lids. I use a small screw on top can , the same as used for rubber cement. I get clean cans and remove the brush from the lid before filling. Very cheap, from American Scientific Supply. Note: The correct name of the company is: American Science & Surplus Dennis J.
