Doing a new build, just opened a new container of U- 40 Rod bond Resin . It appears to be some what crystalized and not as smooth as my last container . Is it ok to use, or will I run into a problem with it ??? The build will be going to Arlington Va. and don't want a recall . Thanks in advance for all replies . <<<<<DON>>>>>

It's fine. Take lid off and pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds. Repeat until it returns to the desired state. Or, set it in a pan of very hot water for about 10 minutes.

Donald,
When you use the microwave, just hit it with 10 seconds burst of juice.
For some of these materials, it takes a surprisingly short amount of time to get the material ready.

You want to be sure not to COOK the material.

As Mr. Kirkman suggested - a nominal 15 seconds is about right - but it is dependent on the size of the container of finish.

G'day Donald

Not sure whats going on with the Trondak resin but i got my second pot and it was the same. But as has been suggested
just pop it in the micro wave for 10 to 15 secs or just place the container in some warm water while your preparing to get
ready.Same thing happened with my epoxy resin but no worries after i worked out the cause.

cheers
