John,
Just a point of clarification. What will the surf boots be used for. Will these be a boot that goes on the end of the rod, to keep the rod out of the water? Will these be boots that the surf caster is wearing in order to keep the feet and legs dry while wading into the surf? If it is the latter rather than the former, you just need boots long enough and tall enough to keep ones body dry. This may mean that the boots need to be 6 inches tall or 6 feet tall, depending on the surf and severity of waves and froth? They could be discount store rubber winter boots, or they could be neck high western style waders? Or they could be the standard issue blue water knee high fishing boots that are used by the crews of many blue water boats while fishing. Clarify the question and the answers shall be forthcoming. Be safe Roger Re: Surf Boots- any recommendations?

I would just use the Hippers you can get at Dicks or sporting stores. I use these on Jetties with Corkers.. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
