A customer dropped off a 2 piece 3M( Sci Anglers) 9'3" 9wt fly blank 100% graphite, but what I never seen before was the male ferrule is aluminum and the female is also aluminum, male on the tip section and female on butt section. The ferrules are glued into the blank the blank is a dark brown color. Anyone seen these before?

Not in many years. That rod is likely one of the old Scientific Angler's models from the 1970's. Integral ferrules were still in their infancy and what you have is one of the many interim designs that appeared between the old standard metal to metal sleeve ferrules and the integral spigot and tip over butt ferrules.
