As a beginner I do not feel that you should really have a need for a power wrapper. You should just start out with a hand wrapper and progress from there. Ron Weber Re: wrappers

Lee,
Another option is to build one for your self. If you have any questions about doing that; you can drop me an e-mail. hflier@comcast.net Roger Re: wrappers

Hello Lee.
That's about it 3 choices. 1. Buy new. 2. Buy off an @#$%& site. 3. Build your own.(and if you want to build your own Roger is a very good source for any info on that). Good Luck. Tight Wraps. Bob, New Bern, NC. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/15/2012 06:21AM by Robert A. Guist. Re: wrappers

Hello everyone,
I am new to the board and am really interested in get into wrapping. I'm in the los angeles area and am thinking about how to get started. I've seen several post on books and will probably start off with getting some of the basic books and DVD's. After reading this post i was considering building my own wrapper before i start spending lots of money on some of the higher end stuff which looks sooooo tempting. If i could please ask your suggestions how to get started, i'd really appreciate it. Although i like fishing the lakes and rivers, I'm addicted to the ocean and want to start building rods for that purpose. Started with ordering the Rod Builder's Guide, should have it in a couple of days! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
