The line doesn't care how many feet the guide has so the choice comes down to how much durability you require.

Ok Thanks, I fish the gulf coast mainly Tx & La. I ordered some guide set an they where singel foot I'll just use them on a rod for myself.

I am using all single foot except for the butt guide which is a double foot on all my inshore rods. If you are worried about durability, try the KTAG's
