The music nearly knocked me out of my chair when it opened up. Needless to say I got right out of it before looking at anything.

A prospective customer/client isn't likely to register just to see your products & services or read
pryor testimonials from happy customers.

The music was too loud, I looked and didn'r see any where to turn it off. I'm not registering on a website just to see whats there, I'm choosy where I sign up for anything. The date is wrong in both places. Other than that its beautiful. Where was that beach picture taken?

you can turn the music off on the bottom right under the pics
If the music is loud you must have your speakers turned up alot.
That's your choice. My web site is for anybody that wants to learn
about fishing, rod building, selling stuff or just have some good
ole fun. for as the beach goes, which one? Where I'm fighting
the fish is in Galveston, Texas
the one at the top of the page I don't know..
Any how thanks for looking

The music made me click off of it before the page even fully loaded. A site killer for sure. The only one worse that I have encountered is a site that sells rods and has seagulls squawking in the background.

Sorry.

That music is great when you open a website at work while on a break. NOT!

I have two sons in website design. It's a major no no. Sorry.

"Come on in, check it out" it says. but you can't check anything out unless you register. Afraid i'm with les on this one too, choosy, don't want to register just to see what's there. This is the greatest rod site for me, and the rod builders library. Has everything i need. But good luck with yours.

Hmm, what ever dude,
letrs see if you log on to any other sites you have to register.
Oh yeah you even have to register to here.. But hey I'm not forcing anybody to register
Thats the way the site is setup and I'm not changing it. It's for my protection to stop
spammers.

Glen,

Nobody is busting your chops here. We took a look and offered some insights.

It's normal to have to register on most forums so that's expected.

However, if you really want to use the site to showcase your work or sell any products,
requiring registration to access those pages isn't a good idea and will cost you sales in my opinion.

I set up 2 websites and spamming has only been an issue on one of them and that's the one I actually PAY for.
Even then, the spammers are registering in my "members" area in order to place advertizing links. I could just
set-up permissions but it would cost me more work in the long run and legitimate members would have to wait
on me to give them access. Easier to just delete the spammers profile when they appear.

Good luck and I hope it works out for you.
