April/May turning demo?

I received a note from Morris Schlesinger last night telling me how much he's enjoyed the Expo. I pitched an idea to him and he's open to it. If enough local builders are interested, it would be possible to have spend the day at the RodMaker offices for a day-long turning seminar. There would be some cost (I would want to pay him) but it wouldn't be much.
Let me find a date and we'll see what we can work out. In the meantime, how many of you here would be interested in attending such a thing? ............... Re: April/May turning demo?

Possibly.
ICRBE: best lathe seminar I've seen. Some unanswered questions. I'm ready to buy a wood lathe; need help. Recommendations, tooling, tools??? I am interested in attending, as well as a few student members of Wake Forest University's bass fishing team/club. Re: April/May turning demo?

I think I can put this together. Let me get with Morris and select a date. There will be a fee, but I think we could keep it below $25 per person.
............. John, I suspect that many of the attendees of that seminar may not be familiar with Morris's reputation in the wood turning world. He's among the best of the best. .............. Re: April/May turning demo?

This may turn into a bigger deal than I thought. I've got guys as far away as Ohio telling me they'd come down for this.

Would it be possible to record this and post somewhere? Or make it available for purchase? Re: April/May turning demo?

Sorry, I'm not prepared to film, edit and produce it. The idea is a day long, informal turning session. Frankly, I doubt it'd make a very good video.
