Gudebrod supply

Sorry if this has been discussed at length already.
I've read bits and pieces on here, but I just wish to confirm that Gudebrod thread is again available and that the product is of the same quality as it was before the supply stopped.

I only need common garden variety NCP size A in black.
Twice now I have been sent a substitute (fish hawk) by local suppliers, after asking for Gudebrod, even though I told them NOT to substitute.

Should mention that I live in Australia, news travels pretty slowly here.

It is available again although from what I was told, they do not yet have ample stock of every color and size. One of the Gudebrod dealers here would be better able to fill you in on this.

They'll be at the Expo in a few weeks and I'm sure Paul Black will be happy to answer any questions about how they're progressing.

Hey Chris,

Yep, I think I know which supplier you are talking about - advertising Gudebrod but posting Fish Hawk. Is that legal?

Hi Chris,
Not sure where you are getting a substitute but its definitely not from us. All we have left in Gudebrod NCP "A" Black at present is a couple of 4oz spools until they are back up to full production and able to supply.

Regards,

Ross. therodworks.com.au

All good Ross, wasn't you...a certain very big shop in Coffs Harbour and Frogleys via my local tackle shop.
Will be in touch re the 4 Oz.
Thanks to everyone else for replies.
Would dearly love to come to the expo Tom, finances forbid it.
Perhaps Ross could send me on a fact finding mission?
