If I'd only requested butt dia I would tend to agree.
That's why I also requested the inclusion of length, weight ,tip dia and material are also included in the analysis. If I know the weight ,length and taper of the blank I can calculate average wall thickness. The mid blank dia further characterizes how the weight and strength are distributed. Response from the vendor is that he mistakenly sent me a 6wt. 9/10 wt is on its way.
I will post specs for the new blank when it arrives. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
