I tried to send a "Contact Us" form at Batson to ask this but I'm guessing the "verification code" timed out and when I "submitted" my question it told me I entered the wrong code, asked me to re-submit, but it had ERASED my question. Good Ol' Technology/Security. So, I figured I'd ask here...ahem...
I read that PVD TiCh is NOT recommended for Saltwater applications, but the PVD TiCh WITHOUT Chrome underneath IS recommended for Saltwater...which Guide has which Coating/Plating? @#$%& stocks the XTCLXNZG (Batson says these do NOT have Chrome underneath) Guides which are Lite XN TiCo, Zirconium ring...are these recommended for Salt? At Batson I also see the XTCLXNCG, which are the same as the XTCLXNZG that @#$%& carries, but the XTCLXNCG has a TiCh Zirconium ring...are these recommended for Salt? If they are, where can I find them? Fire Away... A Custom Rod is like a Custom Rifle. Better. Re: ALPS LXN Guide Variations... Salt or No Salt?

I have always had good luck contacting the Batson's by phone. They will take the time to
answer your question and no better place to get the answer than from the "makers". Thanks, Dan Grulke Re: ALPS LXN Guide Variations... Salt or No Salt?

In the Batson guides including the LXNs, anything that has an 'X" in the ordering code is made of 316 stainless and should be suitable for salt water.
But do call them. I called with a simple question and Karry Batson himself took the time to answer it. They are good folks. Drew Re: ALPS LXN Guide Variations... Salt or No Salt?
