Have decided to try a dc motor for my rod drier so have gotten hold of one from @#$%&.
It arrived today but noticed the 2 spade end connectors on the motor are really small, say 1.7mm wide and 0.4 thick. Do any of you guys know where I can get hold of some female connectors that will fit this motor? Philip Re: mini DC connectors

A good hardware store should have them in the electrical section. _________________________________________ "Angling is extremely time consuming. That's sort of the whole point." - Thomas McGuane Re: mini DC connectors

I soldered directly to the terminals, Easy! then attached the wire to the motor body with a zip tie,so there is no strain on the wiring Re: mini DC connectors

Do you have a Radio Shack store near you? They sell those tiny connectors. You could just cut them off and twist your wires and tape them or use some shrink tube.Barry has the right idea in tying the wires up so there is no strain on them. Re: mini DC connectors
