Still looking for help with birch bark,I see there must have been great article in Vol9 # 2 on birch handles,but its sold out.Any ideas on where to look. Thanks Re: birch bark

Phil, help with applying bark accent on rod. have thin bark peels from back yard tree. I dont know where to start Re: birch bark

The RodMaker article dealt with making birch bark grips. If you want to simply use bark as an accent or inlay, then one of the other RodMaker articles on inlaying veneer will be your better bet.
