It is extra fast. I've used them for crankbaits, bit it's not my favorite though it is very similar to a Loomis CBR906. I don't think it flexes deep enough for a good crankbait rod. I have trimmed and bunch of them and sold them for finesse rods for shakey heads and drop shots. Hope that helps, TC Re: Batson Hotshot 932

I think the CB80H Batson crankbait blank is a better choice for deep cranks. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
