just bought some am tackle acrylic color preserver and ran a test on a couple guides wrapped with a couple different colors of madeira thread and all went well with no fish eyes etc. Now its time to try on a ice fishing rod im about to build and hope all goes well. This acrylic cp is the first kind that has worked for me with the madeira thread.
