I've been using Batson solid glass saltwater blanks and cutting them down.
These make great pike and lake trout rods.

I'm still searching for a good blank, I will have to try the Blank dave listed. I did order a SP-LB82 from mudhole today on sale, will try it out and see how it goes. I still want a composite blank or a solid carbon blank.
