Hi guys,
can you help? just received a new wrapper motor for my PacBay and notice there is approx 1/8" float on the shaft. Is this normal? The original I have has next to no end play and I'm worried the pulley will throw off the belt when it kicks in. Philip Re: Wrapper motor end float query

It probably won't kick off the belt - I have one that developed a wobble. I'd ask them to send a replacement motor. Re: Wrapper motor end float query

Phil,
Perfectly normal for many motors. Simply determine where the motor shaft will be, when it is rotating. Adjust the pulley accordingly. If you are worried about it, you can take the motor apart and add shims inside the motor to eliminate the end play. Roger Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
