Is "Interline" the brand name or are you talking about the rods that have the line running inside of the blank? If it's the latter, I don't think you can find em anymore as they pretty much flopped. Re: Interline Blanks

I'm not sure Daiwa ever still offers their Interline rods and even if they do I'm pretty sure they never sold the blanks. The idea behind them was sound, but in practice they left a little to be desired.
If you really want one to experiment with I'd try finding a used one online or at a flea market, strip it down and then build it back the way you want it. ............... Re: Interline Blanks

Not too sure what you are trying to do with that blank, but if its for a bait rod for use with sabiki's you can try this:
cut the appropriate lengths out of a telescopic Black Widow Crappie or similar pole ( about $10~$15 at any big box shop) and either glue it into one continuous piece or keep it telescopic. You can attach the pistol grip from an el cheapo old bass rod from a yard sale and allow for a ZEBCO 33 ( stainless version obviously) to throw that sabiki down the inside of the blank. I have two Daiwa Interline's hanging up that I've had for years. Personally I really liked them and still do. The very best situation I found them to excel at was a Carolina Rig setup. Nothing beats slinging a long setup with NO guides in the way and no guides to tangle in the line when you sit the rod down.

OK what about friction ?? When line rubs on any thing it causes friction that slows the line down Guides are bad enough but with one Loooog guide as a blank when the line runs though it - I would dare say it can not be better then guides on the blank Very long guide the line rubs on the blank - Has to slow it down
If they were so good - where are they ???? Bill - willierods.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
