Thread colors for Minnesota Vikings.

Hello Everyone.

I am building a rod for my brother and plan on doing the trims in Viking colors but I am not sure what colors to use.
I thought to run a yellow-gold under wrap under just the guide, a white trim, then over the yellow-gold a purple (or is it a blue?) then reverse it on the other side of the guide, so when you look at it from the side you see white, purple (or is it blue?), yellow-gold, purple (or is it blue?), and white.

S0 what I am asking for is the numbers for the threads to match the Vikings uniforms.

Thanks for all help given.

Bob,

New Bern, NC.

here is there site. Take a look at the jerseys and bring up a color thread chart and try to match them. Purple seems to be the dominant color maybe regular nylon it has a shine, Then the gold - looks flat so maybe NCP thread. NCP white will probable give you the brightest.white. I used Gudebrod #521 Purple for this Vikings rod. Also used color preserver.

If you have some scrap blanks try wrapping some of the thread on it with CP and clear it to see what it looks like. They do tend to change a little.

I asked a question about Packer colors once on here. And some one gave me some color codes. When I looked them up they were actually Purple and white. Pretty funny! Didn't help me though!
