On my last three rods I counted the drops of hardener and resin and I had no problems. Volumes as small as 8 drops of each hardened just fine. Re: idea for measuring flex coat

That's good to hear. Do be careful however, as the two parts are not of the same viscosity and when colder temps arrive the difference is even greater so the drops may not always be of equal size.

Make it easy on yourself - use the pumps or syringes - buy volume.

Ken, don't let a few responsed keep you from continuing to seek help here. I don't know why it is but the only negative I have ever found on this board is what you just went through. I believe Tom is the only moderator but you'll always get a few posts abount how you didn't perform your search right. And they're always a little more accusatory than helpful. Not all of course but enough. But you did get some good answers to your question so that is all that matters. Don't worry about the rest.
I was given a tip years ago pertaining to syringes and eposy that works well for me. I think a lot of builders do this. I drill a hole in the cap of each bottle that is just smaller than the tip of the syringe. Then I just leave the syringes in the cap. Just turn the bottle over and draw out the amount you need. Good luck Jeff Hunter Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
