Does anyone have an old G Loomis catalog with the blank P903X listed in it? The blank is at least 20 years old. I built a flipp'n stick and a 2 piece popping rod and the blank was one of these rods. Any help would be appreciated. Re: G Loomis Blank Information

The closest I can find is a P843X, which would be apopping blank, 7 footer, 3-power with a telescoping handle. It's rated for 6 to 12 lb line and 1/4 to 3/8 ounce lures. My guess is that your blank is the same, but 7'6" in length. If it's gloss grey, it's the regular original Loomis graphite. If it's burgundy, it's IM6 and if it's slate charcoal non-finished, it's an IMX model.

It is gloss gray and it has a telescopic handle and was sold as a Flipping Stick blank. Thanks for the information. Re: G Loomis Blank Information

I looked in my collection, and did not see a three power in the 1994 or 1982 blank catalogs. I did see a 7' popping stick in the 1980 Loomis Composites Catalog that was titled
GP 703*+ 2 5/16oz weight 3/8 to 3/4oz lure 8-12 lb 5/64 Tip diameter .570 butte diameter Good luck, Jon Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
