seymo stand off single foot fly guides

I am looking for some feedback regarding the seymo stand off guides. I like the ability to do the locking wrap, however, that advantage may be offset by the higher profile. Does anyone have experience with these guides that could provide a comment or two. I prefer single foot guides but have a hard time getting a nice looking lock wrap. Thank you.

I just build a 7' 3wt fiberglass using them and they perform very well. I was able to shoot out 60' of line with no problems (not bad for the Lami blank!), and there was no issue with the guides performance. They definitely look a little different than the "traditional" snake or single foot snake guides, but all in all I like them and will use them again.

I do think the "fit & finish" leaves a bit to be desired, as I had to work over the feet quite a bit to get them shaped decently, and one of them had too short of a foot altogether.

I have used the H&H stand off guide and like them alot. Walt is correct about the feet needing some work but I like them. I use them in #6 and #5 for switch rods and prefer them over normal single foot guides.

We've got them and they're for sure Seymo Stand Offs ( [] ). We also just got in a new Recoil that looks similar to the Stand Off in photos, but doesn't have much of a "stem" in reality.

I should have said that I got them from Mark at C&M. Always a pleasure to do business with you!
