Thread color suggestions

Hi,

I am considering building a rod on St Croix's "Belize blue" SCV rod blank. It looks like a green blue or aquamarine/tourquise color from catalog photos. Can anyone tell me what color thread the factory uses, or perhaps suggest some color combos that you used and liked?

Regards all!

I would not worry about what color the factory uses-find one that you really like. I would think that that color would go very well with a deep, rich, blue thread with silver metallic and/or holo trim. Try different shades of blue without CP. Sounds like fun to find the right color.

Think about Gudebrod #272 in regular nylon and white NCP for trim. I would use CP on both.

I did two for a customer and his wife. I used Gudebrod Blue Dun on one and the new Fishhawk green metallic on his wife's. It looked sharp!
