Micro Guids Spiral Wrap

Looking to do a spiral wrap with micro guides. Did a search and could not find answer. What would you suggest to start guides off at butt end? Thought about starting with a 5mm and working my way down to all 3's. NOt sure about the transition though. Usually I use a 2 guide system to get the guides to the bottom. That being one as normal on top. 2 transition guides to get to the bottom. Would a simple spiral be better by using say a 8mm guide then going all 3's to tip? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Those itty bitty guides do not cost very much. At least not the ones I have seen. Why not buy a handful of each size and tape up a few different sets and go out and try them? Always better to go with first hand trial and error than somebody else's suggestion. Just IMO.

I just got a set of spinning micros from MH. Runners are 4's. Those puppies are small.

I would not use micros for any transition. They will not handle the transition like other guides. The runners will work.
Email Bill or Lance at Swampland. They have some good insight on this.

Kyle;
I have been using the size setup I suggested for almost 4 years now on everything form light rods to flipping sticks without a single failure.
