Looking for Canadian Suppliers

hi, new to rod building and am waiting for my first blank to arrive (9' multi-use steelhead), my problem now however is locating a supplier for the finishing products (epoxies etc). No company can send flammible products across the border and i cant find a Canadian supplier anywhere - any input would be greatly appreciated (understatement - any info would be a lifesaver!!!)

PS, great site, with a wealth of info - looking forward to spending many hours picking up tips etc

Thanks, Matthew

Hi Matthew. Welcome aboard. Maybe things have changed in the past couple years, but I ordered a lot of my supplies from south of the border when I started and they were all shipped to Canada including epoxy.

I'll have to check.

I second it that Andy Snedden at Rodbuilder Supplies is great to deal with.

cheers
Harold

@#$%& has allot of Flex -coat suppliers shipping is not a problem - Wholesale Sports Calgary do mail orders - and yes i agree with the other fella's Rod Builders Supply out of Victoria, Mr Sneddon, well versed, well educated, artistic hippy type guy with dry sense of humor that goes the whole mile to help you out if you don't push the wrong button first LOL . Suggestion - grab the book titled - The Complete book of Tackle Making author Pfeiffer , the Lions Press. The rod building section is 2nd to none. Its old school but practical
